Gideon is 9!
Dennis had the fantastic idea to surprise the boys on Thursday (Gideon's actual birthday) by filling their room with balloons. So, for 5 hours
he spent his day like this:

We had Gideon's friend party yesterday at the bowling alley. We had never done a party there before, but I thought it was really nice. You gotta love a party where all you need to bring is the cake! Speaking of cake: 
(that is a chocolate cake and vanilla buttercream frosting cake)
